The First Collar Encyclopedia was designed by Flaviya Kaklyugina as a result of her project "Collar and Neckline Designs as a Brand Identity" for her Masters of Science in Fashion and Textiles Management degree at School of Textiles and Design, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK.

Flaviya was born in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and now is based in Los Angeles, California, US.
